Founded in 1979, Sievers has maintained a reputation for its outstanding faculty, small class size, and a special kind of place– where people come together in a nurturing environment to discover or refresh their creative spirit.
A unique island retreat, away from the demands of your daily life, our school offers weaving, knitting, basketry, quilting and dyeing classes in spacious studios, dormitory facilities, and provides encouragement and enrichment to students of all skill levels. The 1890-built schoolhouse makes a good setting for the sale of original fiber arts and fine crafts, knitting and weaving yarns and books.

“. . .Enchanting, beautiful, relaxing, inspiring . . .”

“…I always look forward to my wonderful ‘island’ experience…”
