Bringing those three together within a creative group of students was the result of this week’s Garment Construction Intensive class with Daryl Lancaster. Starting with the fabric, many brought their own handwovens. There were also fabrics to piece together to make a single piece plus some red cashmere for good measure.
Let the cutting and sewing begin!
Time for help along the way…
and now, let’s try it on!
These smiles reflect happy students in their new “Daryl” jackets.
One more word in the series…fantastic!
Every single time I wear the Daryl jacket I made from my nuno fabric last year, I get excited comments from strangers. Thanks Daryl for a great class and project.
