Our quilting week continued with a three-day class taught by Julie Lambert titled Machine Quilting. Students started by drawing designs on practice pieces and learning the steps of machine quilting. Some brought quilts from home to mark and sew as well. Julie shared so many beautiful samples and offered an added treat with a trunk show of many more of her quilts.
Basketry class with Jeanette Biederman is in session until Wednesday and after the holiday weekend, the looms will go up for weaving Friendship Coverlets with Rita Hagenbruch from July 7-12.
