“And what is so rare as a day in June?
Then, if ever, come perfect days;”
Here’s our June day on Washington Island.
“Whether we look, or whether we listen,
We hear life murmur, or see it glisten;” James Russell Lowell
A few choice words and a few choice photos are all that’s needed on a day like today!
My husband and I were hoping to get to the island this summer but it was not to be. So keep sending us those amazing pictures!
Happy to do so Karen and hope to see you in 2018!
I cannot wait to come north to teach what I love to weave. Rita
September isn’t too bad of a month, either! It will be good to see you again, Rita. Take care, Carolyn
So very heart warming
always love seeing the very best of Washington Island!…and remembering
We miss you Cheryl! Thanks for keeping in touch with the Island and Sievers. Carolyn
Thank you for the beautiful words and photos!
Wow, “forget me not’s” by the roadside…
The forget-me-nots are really spreading through the woods in certain places on the Island. It’s magical!
Beautiful! Can’t wait!
We’re looking forward to seeing you and the other quilters…and everything from the photos should look just the same when you arrive!
