By booking on any of our courses or accommodation you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.
What’s included
All basic materials for all courses are included in the price.
If you want to use specialist materials then bring them with you or purchase them locally from the art shop nearby.
All residential courses are full-board including tea/coffee and snacks throughout the day. One day courses include coffee, lunch and tea.
What’s not included
Alcoholic drinks, some specialist art materials.
Accommodation
We have four rooms available for guests; all are en suite but are different sizes.
We charge the same course fee for all the rooms.
In high season we offer a discount for guests sharing one of our large rooms.
If you require a single room it will be available. We will not ask you to share.
Rooms will be allocated in order of booking shortly before the start of the course.
If all our rooms are filled we can obtain accommodation nearby. For this there would be no additional cost and would only be made with the agreement of the guest on booking.
Application requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to attend any course unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
Health & Safety
All guests are responsible for their own safety and must at all times act also with the safety of other guests in mind.
We will advise of any hazardous substances and an introduction to the school will be given on arrival.
Special requirements
We will be pleased to try to cater for special dietary requirements. Those with special food needs should discuss this with us before booking. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater for all needs but we will do our best.
Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy etc. We regret that we are unable to accept persons who are not fully mobile.
Payment
A deposit of 100 per person must be paid at time of booking. This is non-refundable after seven days. The balance of the fee is payable six weeks before the course start date.
Cancellations
If we have to cancel your course before it starts we will refund your fee in full.
In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, our liability shall be limited to the refund of fees to those booked on to the course concerned. No liability shall be held to any other party or for any other costs incurred by the participant.
If you have to cancel for good reason then please speak to us. No guarantee is given that fees can be refunded but if we can find another to take your place, we would be pleased to refund your fee or an appropriate part of it.
We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the course content or prices without notice.
Smoking
For the benefit of all, Lower House and the Art School are non-smoking areas.
Group Bookings
A discount is available for a group booking of six.
The booking will have to made through one person who will be regarded as the group leader through whom all arrangements will be made.
