Although Sievers will have to formally celebrate the first Local Yarn Store Day a month later on May 21st when we open our doors daily, we did want to share photos of our yarns as we are beginning to arrange everything that has come in, including the lovely work sent by many Sievers students and teachers.
We hope you will be inspired this year, not only by yarn and knitting, but with any fiber art you love best.
“Stairway to (Blue Sky) Heaven” “Norwegian Wood” (I mean Wool)
“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” “Send in the (Knit Circus) Clowns”
“Kashmir” Merino Silk DK Rowan Felted “Tweed-le Dee”
“Mad (Tosh) World” “Sock It To Me Baby”
Brown “Sheep May Safely Graze” “In Them Old Cotton Fields Back Home”
In our eyes, everyday is Local Yarn Store Day!
Well done+ If I wasn’t 8 plus hrs. away I’d celebrate with you.
We’ll try to make every day Local Yarn Store Day!
Lovely, lovely yarn! Looking forward to my Siever’s visit in September.
We always love to see you Kathy
Oh my gosh! Your photos are inspirational!
Thank you! It’s fun to get the shop arranged each spring.
I’m with Annie! And I bet I know 1 or 2 (or maybe 12?) who would get in line to come celebrate with all of you. Save some for October Carolyn – we’re on our way.
Will do, Anne! Still waiting on even more wonderful yarns, too.
Oh, thank you, Carolyn. What a lovely display of yarns and colors. Wonderful pictures and a perfect day to receive them. Will be thinking of you all, particularly today, and as always hoping for another visit to Sievers!
Thank you, Mary! We hope to see you, too!
My first of what I hope to be many visits was last summer. Looking forward to it ! Lovely!
Thanks, Ellen! Even more yarn “goodies” in store then!
Wow – what a wonderful display. Hopefully all those beautiful colors will bring Spring into all of our lives. Hope all is well with you and yours. Love, Linda
We miss you, Linda! We’re all doing great and now with the sun shining down on everything, we’re getting ready to open up all the buildings in anticipation of #40!
Whoo! Hoo! I am so inspired!!! I can’t wait to get back to Sievers!
We can’t wait to see what some of those yarns may look like in the coiled baskets your students will make!
OH WOW-I have 2 months to save my pennies to buy, buy buy!
Can’t wait to get there!
Love your comment, Jayne! See you soon.
