We’re so glad Karen…those colors were inspired by a fall scene along West Harbor Road. It is fun to see the hat and colors blend and come together! Happy Knitting! Carolyn

Happy Halloween to you (Carolyn, Ann and Cindra): It’s such a joy to receive your newsletter and lovely photos. I missed not only basket classes this year, but the Island as well. Enjoy the beauty surrounding you. Galena has been full of beautiful colors this season too! I am looking forward to seeing each of you next summer. Stay well, Colleen
Carolyn Foss says
Thanks, Colleen! It’s a Halloween treat to hear from you! We missed you and all our favorite basketmakers this year. I’m sure it has been beautiful in Galena as we’ve heard from so many people in the Midwest that colors everywhere have been outstanding. Less than half are remaining on the trees here and with strong winds today and tomorrow, early November should be quite bare. It just lets more sunshine through! It will be so good to see you (and Dave) next year. Take care, Carolyn
