Description
You may already know basic peyote, herringbone, right angle weave and brick stitch, but there is so much more! Learn and explore some of the more unfamiliar stitches such as Chenille, Pondo, Hubble, Albion, Nepal and St. Petersburg, which are done with standard seed bead sizes. Project choices for each stitch will be offered.
Francie Broadie has been beading and teaching beadwork in the Midwest since 2000, including the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee and Bead Fest in Philadelphia. She is well-versed in bead weaving and glass fusing, having studied with multiple teachers since 1995. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Indianapolis. Seed beads are Francie’s favorite, but she will bead anything. Her goal in life is to cram as much ‘beady info’ into her brain as possible. In her spare time Francie stitches, knits, sews, paints and dabbles in photography.
